The crop top

Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed a number of my favourite bloggers talking about the crop top; to crop or not? Remember Carrie doing it in SATC, when she went into Aiden's bar and seen him talking to the bartender? Series 4 I think. Anyway I have seen some topshop cropped tees featured on various blogs, which of course you can check out on their website. But now it is ASOS's turn to come up with their interpretations of the cropped tee. And whether you want a kind of white gypsy take in the style of Daisy Lowe, a stripy navy and white version a la Alexa Chung or perhaps a more Western flowery shirt version- it is up to you.I think the cropped shirt works very well especially when tied. Nylon's 10th anniversary party, NY

Just having a browse at the opening of Tshop in NY on getty images, which is all over the press, here in the U.K. Listening to the pixies, where is my mind? Which is such a good song and eating a cream egg easter egg (mmmm). I was cringing earlier, of those pics of J.Lo& her husband engaging in conversation and flirtations with Kate Moss. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, Jenny from the block and the 'Croydon clothes horse' seemingly getting on like a house on fire. Anyway I hope you New Yorkers (& those who make the trip from surrounding areas) really like your Topshop. I'm sure there's loads of you out there who are so glad you no longer have to pay for shipping or bid frantically on eBay for topshop items. Anyway it looks really good from the outside and the inside. Just don't turn into hard-core Topshop girls!

Anyway onto the post, Jessica, Taylor, Steve, Kelly and a few hipsters turned out for Nylon's 10 year anniversary party. Wonder where Peaches 'n' Cory were? Probably doing something more pretentious. Coming to think of it Peaches was at that Gucci party with Pixie last nite...

It's been a longgg time since I've saved pictures of Daisy in my inspirational folder. Then again it's been a while since I've seen photos of her out and about. Anyway here she was 'papped' at Jalouse, London which she was apparently dj-ing with her boyfriend Will. Oh and apparently she's got a new MTV series And it's not a trashy Laguna beach/The Hills type series you're thinking of; “A lot of people don’t understand who I am just looking at photos of me, but they’ll get a better idea of what I’m about with this show" said Daisy. She added: “I’m spiritual and up for saving the world.” Riiight.

Angie Gooderham Antique Resin Studded Cuff

I've just spotted this class cuff in this week's Look magazine (UK mag). I'm a bit annoyed, 'cause it's sold out! Ah well it was £74 anyway, so definetely not ideal for my student budget. Going shopping at the weekend (yesss), so I'll have a look on the high-street to find something similar for (hopefully) a more tempting price. Emma Robert's style

Emma is someone I have largely ignored up to this point as I tend to ignore hyped-up new bands, actors etc. until the type dies down. I don't think Emma's style is ground-breaking but it is refreshing. Her syle is quite classic for an 18-year old, with not much accessoring as her well-picked items speak for themselves through cut and colour. Her beautiful and interesting face is what probably draw many to her as well. You know when you are getting old(er), when you are admiring younger people's style. It's just weird!
