Sunglasses time
Even though one of my big inspirations Oscar Wilde once said; "Conversation about the weather is the last refuge of the unimaginative." I keep finding myself thinking/talking about this warm bout of weather we're getting here in the UK & Ireland. I bought my Ray Bans (yes the pair you have in mind), about a year and a half ago and although I really like them and see myself wearing them until I'm like 50, I can't help but be tempted by more colourful or classic sunglasses. Spitfire and Jeepers Peepers (available on asos) are really good sunglasses brands. Jeepers peepers is more of a commercial brand as celebrities such as Nicole Richie (sunglasses Queen?, as seen in my collage) sport them from time to time. Though they are both still underground-ish brands. Jeepers peepers are pretty bright but they do have very statement black and gold Jackie O pairs. Spitfire are for the inner-Kayne in you all- very futuristic, believe me you will turn heads!

Put a spring in your step with these new items at Topshop
It's actually been pretty sunny here in 'rainy' Manchester for the past few days (ironically since I've been making this collage it's got quite a bit duller). Anyway, these bright evenings are great, it is much more inspiring to walk home from Uni and actually see the sun and feel the warmth (rather than feel like a drowned rat). Only a year or so ago I didn't particularly like sunny weather- I never go brown anyway. I remember being in Rome and Florida on holiday when I was younger just feeling so unconformfortably warm and not being able to fully enjoy the atmosphere. Now though, I realise the difference a little bit of sun makes (especially in the UK and Ireland), it's like people become alive, everyone seems so much more friendly and happier. People start playing around with their clothes and taking pride in their bright colours. As we have been working dark colours which reflect our mood and create pathetic fallacy. So there we have it, embrace the sun!
